Ashton John is a filmmaker and creative director renowned for his ability to blend storytelling with social commentary. His work includes a diverse range of films and branded documentaries for prestigious clients such as the Barbican and Netflix. These projects have not only been showcased at various film festivals but have also received television broadcasts on platforms like Channel 4 and ITV.

Driven by a passion for creating impactful documentaries, Ashton focuses on themes of community and social impact. His films aim to spark thought-provoking conversations and encourage positive change within society. His recent academic pursuit, an MA in Creative Business from the National Film and Television School, culminated in the award-winning documentary KNIFE’S EDGE, which highlights pressing social issues through a compelling narrative.

Additionally, his documentary To Whom Does This Belong won the 2024 Museum Activest Award, further cementing his reputation as a significant voice in the world of documentary filmmaking.
